Help Got a problem with downloading stuff

When I download anything from the web browser on my HTC Droid Incredible my download file is always a .bin file. Anything that I download is a .bin file even if its a mp3 or apk.

have you tried other browsers?
Does it do that no matter where you download from? Try a download manager.

I could download the file. But the file extension is a .bin. I have to then rename it to .apk for it to work in File Manager.

Where is your download location set to?

I think the Download folder in my microSd
