Help Got drunk think i messed my phone up

ok well this past weekend i got a lil more drunk than i should of well there are a few parts of the night where my memory isnt the clearest but i do have a memory of trying to make a phone call an noticing i had lost the SIM cover so with a little help we found it but it was folded over an had been steped on well after repairing it an sleeping it off the next day i couldnt get any service an my phone even said it couldnt read a sim card but my sim was in it so thinkin my sim is bad i take it out an place it into my old BB bold an i have reception so my question is could the sim cover being broken cause the sim card an reception problems i am having? the phone did not have any signs of liquids damaging it an so signs of any major drops any help would be much apreciated

Our phones require that the contacts on the back of the two doors be in place and connected to their contact counterparts, in order to complete circuits needs to operate. My guess is that your sim cover being creased impedes one or more of the required contacts. Get a new door from att, get online and chat with a warranty agent and tell them that your sim door will not stay on and you want a new one. Tell them that this one is causing you not to be able to use their service, and without the use of service you see no reason to continue paying them. Threaten to cancel your contract if they dont send you a new door that fits better. Dont take any crap from them and they will conform.

Many other people have had problems with both doors not fitting right, so this shouldnt be an issue to have one sent.
