Got Flash working on my Optimus V!

I used the apk from here:
Flash for x8 - Page 8 - xda-developers
I tried attaching it to an email and downloading it from my 3g connection onto the OV but I got a parse error. Maybe the file name or my Internet connection had something to do with that (I am in a basement and Virgin sucks in this pit). I renamed it to Flash.apk and dragged it over onto my tethered phone and installed it. Just played a Youtube video and worked awesome. Set your plugins to on demand in the browser settings and let it go.

Have not played any games or anything and I don't think I will try, but I have not had any trouble simply browsing with the Flash plugin installed. It's 10.1, but at least its Flash.

Some sites are a little buggy but it works for a lot of them. My own website loads now and I can view my flash photography portfolio. Way stoked. It isn't too slow either.

It did not work. Youtube works of course, but that is because of the youtube app, its not actually running in the browser. Anyway, cnet.coms video cite did not work, as test flash sites ether. I made sure to check plugins and all that.

Stock root lgov

So basically, what we have here is a post that applies only to users that have rooted the phone?
You can try it. Put the file on your sd card (not in any folder) then use a file browser like File Manager and try to run it. It'll let you know if you need to be rooted or not. I don't think so but you don't know unless you try!! :D

I use it in dolphin. However I am rooted. I also have it set to on demand for plugins that way I choose what flash loads so not to over load the processor
