Root Got my Atrix today aRoot help.

Hi everyone i rooted my Atrix with aRoot on windows xp today.
Btw my version is 4.1.83.
Everything in the script looked fine but how do i know if i am rooted?
All i got in my app drawer is SuperUser.
Also i do not have a external SD i just rooted on the internal memory is that okay?
Also i tried to install an app from the browser and it says i can't install it because it's a unknown source.

Rooting the phone does not enable sideloading (sideloading disabled by AT&T creates the error you see when you try to install an app and can't). To see if you are rooted, install an app like titanium backup, it will ask for su permission. If you allow it, than you are rooted. However if you are on 4.1.83 you have the only phone that aRoot worked on since the root method that aRoot uses was blocked in 4.1.83. But more power to you if it did, that is great.

If you want to be able to install apps not from the android market, you need to enable sideloading, use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017373 and if aRoot worked then you have sqlite3 installed

Unless you use gingerbreak, you do not need an external sdcard. And since rooting referring to gaining root access to the internal memory, you are just fine.
