got my number changed

So when I got my EVO I didn't port over my old iPhone number because I wasn't 100% certain that I was going to keep the phone. After the new iPhone was unveiled I was sold that the EVO was indeed my baby and proceeded to get my old number back. That has been done for a couple weeks now but under Phone Information my old temporary number still shows up and when I call my current number it shows on the calling screen as regular number instead of "voicemail", even though it does take me there. I am curious if there's a way for the phone to recognize the new number as its own or if the old one is hard-coded into the device.
 
I think you're going to have to go thru Sprint tech support because to try and change the number yourself is highly illegal.

I think you have misunderstood me lol. I have already done that. It shows up on my Sprint account online as the correct number but not on the phone.
 
Menu>Settins>About Phone... one of the options in there should give you the ability to "update your profile."

It may correct your phone information phone number.

It would appear I do not have that option.

Phone Identity
Battery
Hardware Info
Software Info
Legal

None of those have anything about profile information :(
