Couldn't be more pleased with the Commuter Case for my Note2 - stellar case indeed ... 
But, what about those times when a little; or allot; more protection is needed.
Of course there is the Defender Case, obviously ...
... a bit bulkier than the Commuter, with the built in screen protector.
But, for those that really like the feel of the Commuter ...
... & don't really need the extra toughness of the Defender for actual day-to-day phone use ...
We might need a protective case for the Note2 / Commuter Case, let's say to :
... throw in a backpack, or a duffel bag, or toss in a compartment on a boat, or what-ever ...
Maybe more of a kind of tough "transport type" case ...
... might even need it to be waterproof, or to be crush proof - or how 'bout "both" ...
The type of case that you know your Note2 will be absolutely A-OK when you get to where you're going ...
... (& we're not talkin' about the coffee shop down the street
) :
Hence, the Otterbox DryBox 3000 - waterproof / crushproof, & obviously not right for everyone ...
... but totally perfect for those with the need for something extra.
At the $22 price point, it's a flat-out no-brainer --- "if" the need is there ...
... got one headin' my way ...
