got new tablet need advise

hey everybody im new here i got lot of computer experience but relativly new to android from a developers perspectiv but here my query
i got this Sumvision Cyclone Astro+ Tablet PC - Tablets | Ebuyer.com
and the internet is acting up, it persistantly downloads slow and streaming video keeps stoping and starting yet on speedtest.net app i am getting 17mb/s download.
and also a small bug where google tts keeps stoping when using google drive
i've changed my router settings from wpa2 to wpa to wep and from 802.11n to g
but all makes no difference.
and yet skype calls it does perfect without issue.
any ideas anybody, can i install another version of android to make it work
any advise is appriciated thanks

please anybody with any advice as to why my wi-fi keeps dropping?

This is a very cheap Chinese 4.0 device and I think it's just faulty, very often it is the wifi and networking that has issues with these things. Don't think there's anything you can do with it, except send it back to Ebuyer under warranty.
