Got offerred an upgrade

My wife and I both got thunderbolts when they came out. Been through a few replacements and now hers is eating batteries. Been through 3 in a month so far. Originally Verizon wouldn't cooperate but I got one CSR who offerred us two phones at the 2 year discount and allowing us to resign in prior to the 28th which is quite a few months in advance on our contracts. She understood that we probably called 30 times within the year with issues.

Anyways....I ordered us both Razrs and was told I can return them within 14 days, but was advised to return them prior to the 28th in order to make sure there are no contract issues. So, they are coming Wednesday and that leaves me a day. Do you guys think I should swap them out for the Maxx which would be a 100 difference per phone? Other phone I was considering is the Rezound.

My girlfriend just got the maxx. The battery life is unbelievable.

Needless to say I am a bit jealous. When I need to charge my bolt 2+ times a day and she can get right around 2.5 days out of her maxx no problem.

Haven't had any experience with the regular razr, but if you are sick of battery issues. Go with the maxx.
 
I agree. I got my maxx last wk. Its night and day better than my bolt. Im getting over nine hours of constant streaming of Pandora in a low signal building. My bolt would die in three hours in here with no use. Just searching for a signal would kill it.

I have to call again today to make sure we won't get hit with a restocking fee. I tried to cancel my order 3 times before it shipped and they said it would, and it shipped. Scheduled for delivery as well.

Called and someone said I need to mail back. Then got an individual that said I can exchange it at a brick and mortar store as long as the phone is not opened at all. So hopefully it will be simple enough to go in and just pay the difference and swap phones.....but somehow I don't think it will be that easy.

Just make sure its a corporate store and not some 3rd party vendor.
 
Get you both the razr maxx! Rezound is crap! I had 9 rezound replacements in 13 days! Its worth the extra for bigger battery!
