Help Got S2 back from repairs.."deja-vu?"

JoshS2

Newbie
Last week I sent my phone in for repairs. Yesterday I picked the phone up and had been told that all the issues had been resolved and it would work like "new".

The problems i was experiencing problems before repair such as; voice command randomly popping up, phone locking up and re-starting itself, MTP installation popping up for no apparent reason.

Had phone back for almost 36 hours now, and the problems have come back! WTF.

Has anyone experienced these sort of problems before? And where do I stand sending it back to O2 using phones 4 u. Warranty valid until July. Sounds like more than software issue to me.

Hope someone can shed some light on this issue.

What version are you on?
What did the service center do? An update? A factory reset?

Voice Command activates with two taps of the home buttons and under 2.3.3, it is a little difficult sometimes to close the app and keep it close sometimes.

MTP indicates a USB problem. Some have reported resolving the issue after cleaning the port with a toothbrush.

As for restarting, I've had it after a firmware update and read that it can be caused by clashing of old firmware with new and factory reset with cache wipe can clear that up.

Else, just bring it back and scold the guy at the service center for not doing his job. Unless he is a she, and then a totally different approach might be required....
