Help got some questions, need some answers

Hey everyone, new to this forum but been an android user for awhile. Anyway a little background for everyone. I bought an htc incredible a year or so ago and absolutely loved it. About 6 months later i dropped it and cracked the screen bad. Got a refurb one from insurance and it was junk. Anyway after having that for another 6 months i decided i wanted a good phone again so i bought myself the new htc incredible 2 this past tuesday. Needless to say i was in love all over again. Anyway i have a few questions about the phone. First, can i use my OG incredible charger on my incredible 2? I read the output on both and they are the same. Will using the old charger on the new phone cause any problems with the battery or the phone itself? Im using the new cord just not the wall piece. Second, i tried using the skype that came with the phone to make a video call and it didnt show any picture and the person i was calling couldnt see me either. How can i get skype to work so i can see who im calling and they can see me. Third, when i recieve a text it alerts me twice in a row. It vibrates/beeps vibrates/beeps like it would if i were to have gotten 2 texts in a row. Fourth, my girlfriend downloaded a game on my phone but its also on our ipod touch so i want to uninstall it. When i go to manage apps and hit uninstall when in that app it doesnt do anything, how can i uninstall it? And lastly just out of curiosity, does my phone have the gingerbread or just froyo? Like i said i bought it 2 days ago so im assuming it has gb. It updated right after i activated it also. Anyways if anyone could help me with these questions it would be greatly appreciated! What I can help you with...
Yes, your charger will work fine. No problems.
To see what version of android you're using: from the home screen hit menu>settings>about phone.
Hope someone chimes in with help for your Skype issue.

I'm not sure that the Skype app that comes pre-loaded on the phone supports video calling. Try downloading Skype from the market and see if that helps.
 
^thanks guys. The double notification stopped itself so thats good. Still havent tried skype but i will tonight. I noticed on here tho that some people with the dinc2 have a loose charging port. Mine wiggles a little bit. The phone is only 3 days old mind you and it started a couple days ago. This normal? Or is it going to fail eventually? Thanks again!
 
Ok everyone i need some more help. I noticed that when on forums on my dinc2 the animated smileys dont move. They just stay in one position. On my OG inc they worked fine. What could be causing this? Its been doing it since i bought the phone. Also the internet on this phone is sometimes very slow. Even right now as im typing this the phone is still loading the page. The green bar is like 2/3rds done. Im using wifi by the way. My inc1 never had this problem, it was always very quick. Its not like this all the time just once in a while but it is quite annoying. I downloaded pandora and have the widget on one of my homescreens could this cause it? These little issues are starting to make me consider bringing the phone back and getting an iphone 4s. The phone just stopped loading by the way... 3-4 mins later. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im on 2.3.3 also not rooted.
 
Another thing that is bugging the absolute CRAP out of me... When i type in a url and hit enter it brings me to the most common url on that site. so if im looking for google home page, it wont bring me to that. It will bring me to a previous search. Or if im going to any other page it wont bring me to the home page, it just brings me to the most common one i believe. It brings me to the page thats highlighted underneath the url. Please help me, this is soooo annoying.
 
If i type Google, 2 or so suggestion boxes pop up underneath the url box. When i hit enter it will take me to the first suggestion. Not the url ive typed in. Dont know how else to explain it.
 
Just tried doing that now and it worked. Although the only way to do that is in portrait, landscape view you have to hit the return button. thanks for that tho i never thought of trying that. Any other ideas why it would do this? Im using gb 2.3.3 by the way.
 
^it didnt work on the skype that came with the phone. If you download the skype app from the market it will work. When you sign in just go to settings and enable video calling and youre set!
 
i have enabled the video calling under settings but i still can't get it to work. It says Initializing Video and i see it for a brief second, then the video disappears saying this person is not able to have video calls. I'm trying to test this by video calling the Echo/Sound Test Service. Which version of Skype are you using? Mine is Skype 2.5 from the Market
