Got some questions? think they're stupid? POST 'EM HERE

So i had Beautiful Widgets app for awhile now and had the widgets on my screen until i went on the internet and saw that people could customize it, now i'm an idiot to not look at BW settings >.< lol.
Anyways so as i went to the
app drawer>Super Clock Settings>Went to the third tap on the top-Appearance >Super Clock Skins> And only saw one Installed skin, so i went over to the next and only other tab on that page, of "Download skins".
So then it tells me "Loading Skins List..."----Now this is very slow, and couldn't even see the DL list yet.I left it there for a hour and still on a blank screen that says the same. So i have a Metro PCS Huawei Ascend, thats 1G and is on wifi during all of this process. Anyone had this problem but found a fix??

ALSO
Whats the difference between Apps2sd and just moving the app manually by settings and managing apps?

with beautiful widgets i never could get it to work, so i move to fancy widgets, much better and also more skins and settings...

I was wondering this too. I don't like having to hit 1 to answer a google voice call, but turning that stuff off won't let gv voice mail pick up before cricket voice mail does. Can't I have my cake and eat it too?
 
I have apps showing up in the Android Market (when I go to the app market on my computer) that say Installed but are not installed on my phone. They were installed at one point but are not now. Is there a way to fix this without removing ALL of the apps installed on the phone? Or if I can delete the downloaded app history will it update automatically with the apps I have installed on my phone right now? It is not the search history that I want to clear. It is actually the apps that I have downloaded in the past but are no longer installed.

I need some help.... I was trying to install icarus and like a dumbass i guess i wiped out EVERYTHING that was ever on my phone... when i power on it stays on the white huawei screen... all i can access is clockworkmod recovery but ive tried everything in there and still nothing... when i plug it into my computer nothing pops up... they only way my comp will recognize my phone is if i leave it in clockwork but then i still cant do anything with it :(

yes, its still on there...its gone if he flash the recovery script to out of box state but he accident formated sdcard, i know how that feels, happen to me when i first started when phone first came out, but lucky me i had spare sdcards i made...;)

It's all good,I've learned from my mistakes & don't mind sharing them here for everyone to see & learn from.:D

I put nuttmeg's links for cm6 and gapps onto my sd card and when its time to install zip from sdcard i click the folders (metainf and system) ad go thru the menus to install stuf... everything says "no files found"

and now unfortunatly nuttmeg is offline... I need help bad...

sent you a pm, but your not suppose to unzip the files, leave them as zip, just copy the zip file to sdcard...;)

ok so this time i downloaded cm7 ad saved it instead of hitting open, went to documents --> downloads and drag and dropped into my sdcard.... here goes nothing.... wish me luck i need it lol

ok I opened clockwork, followed the istructios again ad this time it says:

"Installing SDCARD:CM7-Ascend-05212011-signed.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Istalling update...
Welcome to CM7-Ascend-05212011!

Install from sdcard complete."

Then went ahead and hit reboot and holy shitstorms batman I got past the huawei screen! god im sick of lookin at it lol now i've got the cm7 screen with the blue skateboard droid
 
Ok.. I rooted and when I attempted to freeze canvas my phn kept fc like crazi.. I am using go rite now ... Everyone else I tlkd ta say they didnt have a prob freezin.. Ne one knw why
