Help Got Ubuntu 11.04

Don't download that.... now you have to enter. Commands in that to download source... which is huge.. check in dzixda page
 
follow the below method ti download repo

just install it....and all the commands are entered in ubuntu
did you install it like this method


(WINDOWS OPTION 2) If you want Linux instead of Cygwin, and you want it to be installed safely (no partitions or bootup modifications), then you'll need to download a "virtual machine" in Windows.

Using virtual machine software means you don't need to go through the trouble of creating a brand new partition or wiping out your hard drive just to install Linux. You can run it inside of Windows.

NOTE: You'll need a fast PC with lots of RAM!

i didn't like d second method bcoz i have limited pc resources

Processor:Intel Dual Core

First try to create a. Custom Rom... then try porting aosp gb to phone... if you need help just post it here
 
again the same problem.
in the link u gave me there is java6 bin link.that link is for installing JDK
when i go to that link there is no downloadable content so that i can download it manually and install it by locating that file on my HDD using terminal emulator
 
I am telling uninstall virtual box and ubuntu and jdk all other things. Related to it and. Follow the method in the link to install again
 
I have not installed Ubuntu using virtual box.
I have installed it as my default OS by deleting windows 7.
ok I will try ur way tomorrow for sure
