Help Goto Date

Am I missing something obvious, or is there no way of being able to go to a particular date in the stock calendar app? I know it's easy enough to scroll to a different date, but for distant dates, it's easier to enter the date to go to (in the same way that it's possible when adding a new calendar event).

You mean, you're not entering an event. You just want to enter a date with the keyboard and have it take you there to look at the day?

I'm not aware of a choice. But man, if you just choose monthly view the scrolling is really quick. How many years ahead are you going? It's got to be quicker than entering most dates.

I can't even enter a date manually at my desktop unless I'm creating an event. I just scroll the months by.

Yes, that is what I mean. As I said in my post, I know it's not too difficult to scroll to other dates, I just sometimes want to enter a date. The HTC and Samsung skins allow it, maybe I'm just not used to Vanilla Android yet.
