GPE or Stock

I had an M7, which was fantastic. Moving to M8 and want to buy off-contract. I enjoy the Sense experience, but LOLLIPOP seems to be a huge leap in an exciting direction. Very sense-like. I need some advice on which to get. Do I get the GPE and hope LOLLIPOP is all that? Do I just go with Stock sense version? Ugh. Yeah, definitely a firstworldproblem, but if I'm dropping that kind of cash, I'd like to get all info I can. Much appreciated.

Well, a solution might be buying the sense version, root it, unlock it, and install a GPE ROM if you're into that stuff. That way you can switch whenever you want. If not, I'd get the GPE, though the camera sucks worse I hear.

Yeah in my experience the camera app is worse on gpe.
