Root GPRS disconnects when phone is idle for long time

Hi,

Whenever I move to no network area or if my phone is idle for long time then the GPRS connection used to disconnect and most of the times it doesn't reconnect. Sometimes switching to airplane mode and back works but mostly i have to restart the phone to get GPRS working again.
Any solution for it??
