Okay, I finally had the confidence to update my phone via Kies because an update was available.
The update went smoothly and after the update I used my packet data to go on the internet.
The problem is my gprs won't work even though on the notification bar the gprs icon (the one with a letter and two arrows) shows that I am connected.
