Can't lock a signal with either GPS or maps. The GPS status that worked great to quickly locate sats and allowed goog nav and maps to be accurate within 2 meters within 10 seconds does not lock a signal either now that I have 2.2. I have done all of the usual steps to improve accuracy suggested by the map icon and nothing helps. Any apps to improve GPS?
Edit: I turned on WiFi (even though no wifi signal was avail) and it navigates perfectly and GPS status works like new- for some reason Nav needs Wifi to work- I also have Goog and VZW location services on- all of this is killing the battery, I am at 48% after 5 hours (not 5 hours of use, just off the charger).
