GPS (google maps not available)

Hey guys so unfortunately googlemaps doesn't provide any support for the united arab emirates. I bought the desire hoping it would be a one-shot all in one kick ass phone/gps/machine of biblical destruction......but unfortunately now have no means of using GPS

Do you guys have any suggestions on what I can do to get some GPS support for my unit? I know companies like Navigon sell a map application for android ($100!!!), but the problem is with the desire you only have a teeny tiny hard drive and many apps don't transfer to the external card's hard drive. So i'm kinda stuck, and keep getting lost, and need some gps support damn it!

With CoPilot you can shove the largest part of the app to SD card

And CoPilot is a very good navigation app ...

Yes of course
But CoPilot does a part of it's own app shove on SD card.
