Help GPS Intermittent Problem

Yesterday I just happened to notice that when I tried to take a picture, my DX would not. The view finder just kept blinking on/off while the auto-location tag switched between searching for location and no location. So I did a bit of troubleshooting and found that when I turned off auto-location tagging the camera worked perfectly. WTF! So I decided to check the navigation app, it would load fine but when I tried to navigate to a address it would close or quit. I went to [Settings ---> Location & security] and turned off [Used wireless networks, Use GPS satellites and Enable Assisted GPS] then turned them back on and tried the camera again with the tagging option selected. Same problem!

So I finally called Verizon and they had me check the same crap I already checked and then said the only solution was a hard reset which I resisted since my phone is only 2 weeks old. I told her that I'd just soon return the phone to Verizon and get another new one since I was within my 30 days. Anyway, after turning off and on the location settings once or twice. I decided to try out the maps app, I turned on my wifi to get a more accurate location as the app asked. It found my location okay. I then went back into the navigation app and tried to navigate to a location and it worked. So I went to my camera app and turned on the location tagging and everything worked fine. Have any of you had this problem? I still think it may be in my best interest to return the phone within my 30 days if I continue to have problems, just for a new DX. What say you?
