GPS issue...

OK, no idea if this is in the right forum...I have had my G1 for a little over a week, and finally decided to play around with the GPS. I can't seem to get it to work. I go into maps, and go to 'My Location', but it doesn't get very close. and if I have the 'Cell Location' option turned off, it won't find it at all...I'm wondering if I'm overlooking something, or if it is defective.

ok, it seems that maybe I was expecting too much...I seem to have it working now, it just doesn't have very strong signal.

I've read people complain about the gps. All I can say is mine works great. I can see what room of the house i'm in.

LOL most of us dont have homes that cover 50 acres

My gps does a great job ... on the occassion when there might have been to few sats which were low ... the accuracy was less ... but that is normal ... most of the time the light blue accurracy ring is very small or not visible ...
