Help GPS issues?

I'm assuming this is an issue at least!


When going on to Google maps, and Navigation, my location, after taking some time to lock on, seems to be somewhere in the Northeast of England. Carlisle last time travelling east in a straight, as in as the crow flies, line at a fairly respectable speed!


Has anyone else experienced this?
Oh, by the way, I'm in Sussex at the moment!

Thanks for that.

The satellite receiver icon just stays flashing though as if it isn't locking on to a signal.

Does it do that for you too? Been a while now.

Tried a battery pull?

Sure.

Take the battery cover off and pull the battery out.

Still doesn't want to lock on to anything though.

Not to state the obvious - reboot the phone, stand still in open air with a view to the sky, make sure the phone can receive mobile data, enable GPS (for example via power widget), start GPS tester application and wait for 1 minute. If you still don't get a fix, then it might be time for a phone reset.
