Root GPS/Nav. no go on cust. roms

For some reason I cannot get navigaton/gps to work on any of my custom roms. It works fine on vanilla FRG83 but not on Charity, or BB. Any ideas. I engage the gps and the navigation just searches endlessly for a location.

Download GPS Test, run that and see if it helps. Otherwise, download Ultimate Droid and enjoy.

I uninstalled it as a system app and then reinstalled maps from the market and all is well. It seems that since I have recently loaded both BB and charity 10 I must have been using tibu to bring in a non compatible version of maps. Anyway fixed now. Thanks for the suggeston but UD5 gave me a few too many bugs. For me Charity, SS4.9 and the new BB seem to function flawless with the latter just about perfect.
