Had some problem this morning, my satnav couldn't get a GPS fix. It didn't complain about the GPS being off, nor offer to take me to the GPS menu, and my GPS icon was on, so I ended up getting to my destination by dead reckoning.
When I got a chance to look at it, GPS was off... but the icon on top was still on.
What's up with that? I found out GPS was off after two reboots, never checked it because the icon was lit.
PS Not that I'm going to hold my breath that Google/Vz/HTC will fix anything on this old phone. It only became truly usable this year with ICS....
