GPS on/off swtich went missing????????

I received the "update" today....about 75 plus meg and 20 minutes later.

I had previously placed a "widget" gps on/off switch on the page were the wifi and bluetooth on/off switch is located....not sure how i did that, but i did have it located there b4 the update.

My GPS seems to work fine w/ "maps" but not working w/ downloaded gps apps.

I want to know if it is on or off, mostly concerned about battery life.

NOTE: this is NOT an activated phone, only using it in hotspot/wifi and the gps at the moment.....bought it used to mess w/ until my incredible arrives.

Hit the + select htc widget select settings and there it is.

Out of curiosity, what HTC widgets should be on my Eris? I have (or am able to add): battery, bookmarks, calendar, clock, daily challenge, messages, notes, people, profile, ringtone, search, tip calculator, Twitter.

Also, when I enter the "Settings" area of "Add HTC Widgets" there's nothing. Am I missing widgets?
