Please God let this one have a WORKING GPS feature :}
Awesome as my GSII is, its so frustrating to have to grab for my gf's GNex every time we need to find something in the car...
GPS works fine on my Galaxy S II, even indoors.
Wow, which versions of the GSII do you guys have? I had heard going in that GPS was a long standing and fairly widespread issue on Samsung phones. Sure enough, the odds of getting a fix with my Epic Touch are like 1 in 10 at best.
It will probably be similar to the Note, location lock within 1 to 2 second outdoor.I still have a GS, where the gps is horribly bad (Have had to tweak settings to get it going but its still poor). I'm getting the new GS3 when its out and I expect it to have good quality gps or I won't be a happy chappy. Samsung does seem to have had its fair share of reported gps issues.

I don't know what the difference is, but as others said my i777 has almost instant lock whether in doors or in the car. You may have a faulty sensor, or could just be your location as other Epic owners say they don't have that issue.Wow, which versions of the GSII do you guys have?
