I'm totally new to this sort of thing, so not sure if I have placed my question in the right place.
My HTC desire has exactly this problem it used to get hot and restart but the provider has "repaired" it twice by upgrading the software, I am on 2.2. It continues to restart if I use any app including google maps that uses GPS.
I would like to attempt this gpsclr fix but can I use the same MSL code or do I need to get one for my specfic phone? Also is MSL a generic name as I am in the UK and things are often different here.
