Help Grab your Pitchforks, Missing RAM

I suggest you scroll up and read my reply

Yes, I read your post, thanks. Now how does the average typical consumer see that for his/herself? Can you use Quadrant as I described in my post to pretty much get the same result? If there isn't a way for the average consumer to really see this, then it is my opinion that Motorola, and whoever else is responsible for putting the Xoom together for market, screwed up royally. In this day and age and this economy, most people want to see that what they payed for, they received and they aren't being taken advantage of.

I still love my Xoom, and I'm probably going to keep it, but this will probably effect my purchasing decisions down the road relating to Motorola, and whoever else I can find attached to the making/marketing of the Xoom.

Yeah but he's got a legit complaint. How does a tech at Motorola make such a dumb reply as that? You expect a better response then that don't you? It's rather sad that we know more then they[Motorola] do.........

Yes, that kind of stuck out in my mind, and it was hard to believe I was speaking to someone at level 2 (if in fact I was). Do you think post #23 concerning Quadrant, can be used as a legitamate way of determining the amount of memory? Thanks

At this moment until there's actual proof, I still think we got 1G of ram in the Xoom. I'm not sure there's any app at this moment that will tell you exactly what you have.

Too bad that there isn't a way to tell for sure. How is it that you are judging that the Xoom has 1G? If you don't mind me asking?

From all the reviews. Like I said, until proven otherwise, it came with 1G of ram. We can assume all we want, but without facts, it's just all rumors and speculations. I just wonder if the apps are reading it wrong or something. It would be nice if Motorola came out and tell us wtf is going on.....

That last link you displayed there was a good find. Thanks for sharing. I was kind of wondering about that memory listing as well.
