Gradient Banding Issue: Does your SGS2 have it?

Hey everyone, I have finally received my Galaxy S2. I noticed that there is significant banding in gradients on my screen. There seems to be a thread about this on XDA-developers ([UPDATED][EXPLANATION] Display Banding 16bit Vs 24bit (Video + app tests) - xda-developers and Heavy banding on gradients - xda-developers), but I couldn't decided whether this is a faulty handset or just a problem that everyone with the phone is experiencing. It seems as though the images are displayed in 16 bit colour. Is this gradient banding problem a known issue with the galaxy s2 or is it just my phone?

Happens on mine too in some images (including some that I really think should be in 32 bit color, but I can't remember if I ever verified that). I think I actually made a while back asking the same question as you - and was also pointed to that thread you linked to.

I also have an issue with a "green" grayscale in gray areas in some images, but I believe this problem is also related to the banding?
