Help Gradually diminishing memory?

I've been noticing that available memory goes down overtime, regardless of my behavior. Advance TaskKiller usually lists 200mb free when i first turn on my phone. it's now at 143, despite no new apps open, and i've seen it go to 50mb before. A simply reboot solves the problem (obviously), but I'm curious as to why it diminishes at all, and if there is a solution that doesnt involve turning off the phone.

It will find the bottom and the OS will manage it from there. It is normal and perfectly fine.

My bottom is 35-37.

No solution necessary.
