Great graphics, challenging gameplay, high score leaderboards, and while the free/lite version is fun, the full game is less than $2. A pretty nice tower defense game all around, I'm enjoying it immensely.

I tried it... wasn't really all that interesting. Random paths for creeps means you can't develop a strategy. Instead you frantically build towers where the next wave enters the level. I uninstalled it. I have quite a few better tower defense games already.

Still waiting for a game as good as Sentinel and Sentinel 2 (iOS tower defense games).
 
Right on, hydralisk.

I myself really like the random paths. It's not as if they are completely random, though. Each wave has a predefined path, but I find the varying paths make the game more challenging. It really does require a bit of trial and error to find the best strategy to defend against all possible paths, but that doesn't bother me in the least. It seems like the devs change paths from time to time with updates to give the game some legs, which I also like.
 
I have become Grave Defence fan since 1.0 version. Guess it was in Dec 2009 or so :) That time they had one path monsters can go.

Now I can say the game is much more interesting with all those different directions and maps and additional features.
The Gold ver update was issued recently which is awesome with all those kamikazes and mines and nets guns etc :D

By the way they've got maps with one path, which are not as easy to beat :P
 
I love the game it is not the usual one where you can fall asleep while playing and predict everything.
Now I want to see new levels but cannot pass 8th. Can anybody help me, please. Is there any video with hints for level 8?

Yes, level 8 is finishable. I began to wonder after 2 days of no success.
If you still need help, which wave are you up to?
 
I've had to start over in the game a few times. Gotten passed level 5 twice..but stuck again :). Never got passed 8..6 and 7 are quite easy. Wish it had a level select for levels you've beaten. We need a page just for some strategy tips :)

@Eric,
Why do not you use 'Last Level' menu option?
It lets you to start from the level you could not pass last time.

It took me like 15 tries to beat level 8, so I used that menu all the time.
:) I can not imagine I had to go over level 1-7 again and again to reach level 8 each time :D
 
I've had to reset my phone by to stock (a few times) and titanium backup had an error. :). Got passed level 5 for the 3rd time last night (if you get passed the first few waves..your usually oki)...back up to level 8.
 
On level 8 you have to sell the flame tower in the lower left corner to buy the air tower, then you buy your flame back when you have the money.
 
Level 8 looks fun, but I've been stuck on 7 for quite a while, can't seem to get past the frankenstien. Any pointers for 7?
 
I've heard Grave Defence Gold to be update this weekend :)
I can't wait what new will be implemented there...

J0hnH0lmes has it right: sell the lower left flamer in wave 7, use the cash to buy a harpoon, place it in the center. Buy two more harpoons, place them in the lower section. Then, before wave 11, buy a harpoon and a flamer. Place the harpoon at top center, and place the flamer back in the lower left.

After that, buy a freezer and place it in the lower part.

At least, that's how I beat level 8.
 
I've got the Gold version and its wickedly addictive played 2 hours last night
 
Ok i have been at this for awhile and still cant seem to get past the HELLoween update to play the others. Can someone please help me get past this level. Any help would really be accepted TY:mad:
 
I've spent many hours trying to find how to beat level 19 at the insane difficult level, with no success. Anyone done it?
 
i came across Grave Defense about a week ago and i have to say it is absolutely awesome so god damn awesome that i deleted the pirate copy and went and bought it and its alot harder which is good

what OTHER tower defense games were you on about hydralisk?

There are other Android tower defense games, such as Plants vs Zombies that are fun, but nothing like the experience of playing Grave Defense. The real reason for my post is getting a sense of whether all of the levels can be completed when at the insane level of difficulty. For example in Level 19, you can kill off waves of flying bats with a single Tesla Coil for the first few waves at the Casual level, but at the insane level, it takes two Tesla coils to do the same thing, and if the waves of bats don't wrap far enough around the coils, they are seriously wounded, but not killed. It just seems to take a lot more power to kill off the monsters at the insane level, and if there's not enough power that can be purchased through killing off the monsters to kill the remaining waves, the level cannot be completed.
