Gravity!

I keep telling total strangers, “I don’t even know you, but you gotta see Gravity. In 3D. Right now.” Pretty sure no movie has ever had that kind of effect on me. It’s either that good or I’ve gone that insane...

Yeah, gonna go see this at the IMax here in Pittsburgh. This looks to be the best thing in 3D since Avatar.

I'd like to go see it tomorrow, probably won't have time. Curse you JAVA programming midterm!!!

ok just got back from watching Gravity in D-Box and here is what i thought about it:

first off i was expecting something like:
but i'm glad it was nothing like that......:D

ok so what is the deal with with D-Box then? well your seat moves and vibrates according to the action on the screen.....it sort of reminded me of the Disney ride "Captain EO" with Micheal Jackson:

so this effect was cool as it enhanced the visual of floating in space.....the only disappointing thing was the movie itself was shown in 2d and not 3d......the screen used was amazing, but i think Imax 3D was waaaaay better.

now if they made it so that it was 3D with D-Box then i would say that it was worth the $20 for the movie, but since it was not.....to me, it fell short of my expectations.

but the one saving point was the movie....i still love it!!!!!

Okay, like I said I would, I just went and saw it again. Theater was almost empty, but it was a Monday afternoon. Was thrilled again even though I knew what was gonna happen. Anyway, it’s not gonna run forever, so if you haven’t seen it, get off yer arse!

Dear lord was this an awesome movie! Must see in the biggest screen you can find and in 3D. I'm hoping to see it again today with the wife. (in an IMAX; wanted to see it at Natural History Museum, but you know why we can't )
So far it's at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, highest I've seen any movie get to. :)
You'll be on the edge of your seat for the entire movie!

i literary sat on the edge of my seat! although the plot happens in space, i felt like suffocating and it all felt very claustrophobic... and my biggest nightmare - falling towards infinity just like sandra bullock in the begning did was visualized before my eyes. i held breath so many times i almost forgot to inhale! amaizing. of course the plot was cheesy and i facepalmed a lot during the movie, but we all know it was not abou sandras dead baby, but about F**=$%$ AMAIZING SPACE:p

Did you see it in 3d? Talk about feeling like you wetter there!!!!!!!

I still think 3d with D Box would have been pure crazy!!!!!!

I can't wait for the Blu-ray to come out so I can see the behind the scenes and how they make it.

I wish I could have seen it in Imax, but even in regular 3D it was awesome. I think it still would have been great even in 2D, though. Sandra B will definitely get an Oscar nomination.
