Help Gray battery, white exclimation mark

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows the the white exclamation mark means, when it's inside the battery, which turned gray, with the battery fully charged.
It just started occurring 2 days ago out of the blue, when I had the phone screen off and in my pocket because I was at work.

HTC Incredible S.

Oh, I read here (http://androidforums.com/lg-ally/256203-question-mark-battery-meter.html) it's a problem with the battery, but the phone came with the battery and I only got it about 2 weeks ago and that to me sounds odd?

Yes that's correct.
I didn't know weather it was "Incredible" or "Incredible 2" so I just put it here. My bad.

Hmm, suppose it is an unrecognized type of power source, but what I don't get, is why it's showing up AFTER it's charged and I have to charge it through my PC for it to go green again?

Suppose Ill contact HTC to just confirm

I have the same issue but on the Incredible 2. Any ideas?
