This thread is meant to be for entertainment purposes, but what I'm saying is true. I replaced my D3 with the SGS4 about 1.5 months ago. But I've kept my D3 on for the hell of it. (It has no resale value.) Technically, I kept it on, but in airplane mode. Why? Well, for the first couple weeks, it was to refer to the D3 to as I customized my S4. Anyway, now that it's in airplane mode and I only turn on the screen maybe once a day to see the battery life, I'm getting about 2-3 hours per 1% of battery life. (My D3 is rooted w/ the Minimoto ROM, which shows 1% battery increments, unlike stock ROM.) In other words, I can go for about 1.5 weeks before I need to recharge the phone.
