So I wanted to share this really inexpensive adjustable car mount I found on Amazon, and to show how it works, I used my Captivate to record video during my car ride home from work tonight.
I chose this particular section of the trip to upload to youtube because it features some fast highway driving, lane switching, and some pot hole'd New England roads.
You'll notice the video is pretty steady when the roads are decent, but it bounces around a bit when the roads are bumpy.
The mount itself is very adjustable - I have the captivate in there "upright" and then twisted sideways. I think it may well be able to fit it "sideways" but I didn't want to risk blocking the outlet.
My only disappointment with this mount thus far is that I'm unable to mount from my dash, which I had thought I would be able to. Other than that, good deal.
