Great forum

Like others have already done, I'd also like to thank you guys for creating this forum.

I'll try not to bring down the forum's technical IQ too low!

Quick question: I'm just starting to learn to develop Android apps. How does a newbie like myself get started? What books, software, and hardware (other than an Android Smartphone...) do I need?

Thanks!!
