I like the app called "Drippler".

It is an "Android news" app. It often has articles on games, top games, etc. as well as new app reviews, tips, and lots of Android and Android app related articles. You might try it.
Also, the AppGratis app and the Amazon app both give away 1 free app a day (often they are apps you would otherwise have to pay for). A lot of the times they are games.
