I factory data rested my optimus elite. I still have root access but now my signal bars never turn green? i need help because i am selling the phone so it does not matter if i loose root access.

I factory data rested my optimus elite. I still have root access but now my signal bars never turn green? i need help because i am selling the phone so it does not matter if i loose root access.
You should flash it back to stock in LGNPST then.

Also quick question, can I factory reset from recovery with a custom SystemUI.apk? And if I include superuser as a system app will I still have it after a reset?

Theoretically, yes. framework-res seems to be what potentially bricks the phone at this point with some custom ROMs or framework-res's, the SystemUI shouldn't give you any trouble though. Factory reset also doesn't touch the /system directory to my knowledge (bricked my first OE over a borked framework-res, FR didn't do anything to help fix it), so if you install superuser as a system app it should be fine post-FR.
