Help Green bubble on text showing up after responding to a message

So ever since the update when I send a text I get a notification as if I have a new text but it is just the text that I sent out. it shows it as a new notification until i look at it. it is really annoying. any suggestions?

go into your messaging app and go to settings/notifications/ and uncheck sent notifications. that way you will not get a notification that you sent a message.

anyone?! I will send a text, then when i go back in to my text messages later it will show a green bubble like i have a new text but i dont its still just my old text that i sent. and it has nothing to do with my notification settings. This is so annoying

try wiping cache for you messaging app. if all else fails you might want to try and clear data as well. you will loose your messages though.
