Green Screen when using Skype

When using Toshiba Thrive and Skype to contact a friend via Skype. I can see and hear the friend on my tablet and also see the picture from my webcam in the bottom left of screen. However the friend, also using a Thrive, can only hear me and see a green screen. This is the same with another contact on her laptop.

Anyone know the answer to this?
