Root Greeting from Eris land

Hello everyone. I am getting ready to make the switch to an Incredible from an Eris. With the Eris there is a one touch root program that makes rooting nice and easy. Launch the app, reboot the phone into recovery and flash the rom. Anything like that exist for the Incredible? Would really like to have my wireless tether when i get my new phone.

Hey Marshall.
I also just came over from the Eris, rooted my DInc using the method below, which is very much like the Eris one-click.

Download and install the drivers for the computer (unless you're on linux) run the Unrevoked3 executable file, sit back and watch. Couldn't be easier.

Welcome. I got my Inc in November and love it and I traded in my old Eris a couple weeks ago for $132. Bought the 32BG sdcard so I could store all of my music on the phone.

Same here. Just got my DI this week and already loving it. First thing I did was root. Day after that I was hunting for ROMS. Currently trying out Athena 1.2. So far it's pretty solid.

I loved my Eris and the DI is kinda like it's big brother. Thumbs up!
