Hi!

I'm Welshie, live in Birmingham, UK. Either tonight or tomorrow I am taking the plunge and dumping my iPhone 4 in favour of a Samsung Galaxy SII (in white because everyone knows that white is cooler ;D).

Both terrified and excited to move to a new operating system.

Hi... Welcome to Android Forum. I've made the switch - and I'm HAPPY thus far. A new platform is like a new school, it feels strange at first...but you blend in eventually. And I can assure you, Android is more open, intuitive, and very customizable than IOs.
 
Yes I got the phone last night, feel a bit lost but am sure I'll figure it all out eventually. Well, except for one problem I'll be posting about in the appropriate forum shortly.
