1. You don't have an "eris/droid". You have the "HTC Droid Eris" (HTC being the company that made it, "Droid Eris" being the model). This is not to be confused with "Android" which is the operating system that it runs on, and not to be confused with the Motorola Droid, also that runs on Android, but is a completely different phone.

2. If you haven't, begin looking in to upgrading your operating system to 2.1, your phone will be completely different (and better).

3. Read everything you can on this forum!
