Hi everybody, my name is Paul and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have just taken the plunge with a new smartphone; HTC Hero. I have been following the development of new phone technology for a while and although I was quite keen on the iPhone, due to its general unavailability here in SA and being very keen on open source software, it was a no brainer to opt for an android based phone, after having looked closely at the Dream/Magic I wasn't totally convinced but with the release of the Hero I really couldn't wait any longer
