Greetings and other salutations:

I'm Mike and I'm an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

I enjoy designing and developing embedded systems using Microchip's PIC series micro controllers and hope to meld the power of the PIC chips and the robustness of the Android operating system together to create new devices and expand Android to more things than phones and tablets.

I currently have several projects that I'm working on, but the one which consumes most of my time anymore is a hybrid formula style race car with UTA's Formula SAE team.

I look forward to learning and playing with AndroidOS and ultimately making it do my bidding for all my evil deeds...

Great introduction thread! Thank you for sharing--often, folks just say "hi" (which is cool, too), but we don't often get to know much about our new members.
