This is it folks, I've finally reached the 21st Century! Not only is my one week-old HTC Desire my first Android phone, it's also my first phone on a monthly contract (I'd been a happy pay-as-you-go customer for the past eleven years but I had recently noticed my monthly top-ups were becoming more expensive, hence the change to a contract).
In this first week of Android ownership I've had a few minor concerns quashed, obtained apps that I never new existed and learned more about my new phone than I could've possibly imagined, all thanks to the people of this forum. I would also like to say thanks for introducing me to the concept of rooting. It's something that I really do not need to do, but as I am now hooked on finding out the limits of my phone I'm going to give it a go anyway. I'm sure it'll end in tears!
