Group Text on the Note

Hello,

I was just reading on the G3 thread that a former iphone user who now has the G3 cannot accept group texts from other users. Does anyone know if the Note can handle group texts on its base text application?

I don't know if this is what you want, but click messaging, then click on the small message icon to compose a message, followed by the small contacts icon and you can tick as many recipients as you want.

Thanks for the response but I was wondering when someone includes you in a group text. Owners of the G3 says if that happens on their stock message app then they don't get the message. Just wondering if owners of the note recieve group texts on the stock message app.

I know the workaround is to get another text app, but if that's the case that's crazy that the stock app can't handle receiving group texts.

Since SMS do not work like emails I am not sure how it would make a difference. If you text 3 people I'm pretty certain it sends 3 individual texts

You could always get someone to send you and another person a text to test it.

I got group text when I was using stock app all the time. I am now back to useong Go SMS cuz I really do like the app, I used it a long time on my Atrix..
