Group Texting

Does anyone know how to set up a Group for texting so that you can text a specific group of people all at one time instead of having to do each one idividual? Thanks

Not supported natively...there are apps to do that )) but I haven't tried any of them yet.

Try searching this forum on "group" and also on AndroLib, Find all applications and games available in the Android Market for your Android Phone, HTC Dream, HTC Magic etc....

actually all you have to do is put a comma after the first contact in the message and then put in the next contact and then another comma and so on

... this will send to multiple contacts, but as you get responses it will split each response into it's own thread. as far as I know that is the only way it works.

With Handcent and Chomp it is very easy. Of course you have to group them first in Gmail. Start either app.> in upper left touch new message> on right touch + > in middle touch groups> then Pick one. I taught all the guys at Verizon store this one today. They have no clue.
