Help Group texts don't download

I can't receive group texts properly. They come through as MMS and I have the option to download. When I click on that, it'll say Downloading, but never complete. Has anyone else seen this issue and come up with a solution?

Its been happening to me a lot.

Also when I send out a group Text it takes about 5 min for the messages to go through to each person...say to maybe 8 people or so...

Never had that problem before with any of my Android phones. Has usually been a quick seamless thing in the past.
