Lurker
I have had this phone for less than 3 months.. first let me state, it has not been dropped, drowned, stomped, or thrown. The glass is intact and it powers up.. the lights off the screen work, the sound works... I have only used the charger that came with it. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I am a disabled veteran with little resource for another, or repair.. Thank you

you can go to the lg website and register your phone then they will give yout the one year warranty for your phone send it to them and get it fixed! they will let you know what happens to the phone and if its a hardware problem they will fix the phone for free....

Well folks the solution to my dead screen.... LG WOULDNT FIX IT!!!!
HERE IS THEIR SOLUTION... TOO BAD SO SAD... to say I am devastated is an understatement..Mind you this phone I treasured and NEVER COMMITTED ACCIDENTELY OR OTHERWISE HURT IT. They claim the "board is bent".. Unrepairable ... I called after they returned it ..and spoke with many and NOBODY would help me.. so basically this 300.00 phone to them is disposable they said as much. The odd thing too is they didn't even offer to fix it at a price. When I received it back... they thrashed it. I inspected to see if they actually looked at it.. well they broke the volume key.. they broke the protective flash plastic thingy.. they stripped out most of the screws, the battery seems to have more space (not a tight fit) and wait for this...****** I plugged it in ( it acted like it wanted to work before I sent it in) and pushed the power button and LOW AND BEHOLD **** IT TURNED ON. I ALMOST FAINTED. NOW THE NEXT BIT OF INTERESTING DETAIL.. THERE WAS A PASSWORD ON IT!!!!!!! NOT FROM ME... SO I ASK how can an unrepairable phone with no passcode come back with one and able to turn on......???
There IS a problem with it because it takes many trys to get it on...
Secondly I am locked out.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh help
