Help GS2 T989 Keeps Turning Off

So I bought this GS2 a few months ago, I love the hell out of it. Came from an iphone, which I still have respect for but I am totally in love with this thing.

Anyway, it has just turned itself off and is trying to restart. While the power is off, it vibrates a pretty consistent pattern that is almost like a heart beat. Every oncew in a while, it will get to the start up screen but it cant seem to get past the initial screen with the progress bar under the samsung logo.


I have tried removing the battery as well as holding the unlock button and home button simultaniously, with no luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I had a similar issue, phone randomly rebooting and sometimes struggling to power up, to fix mine I removed the battery, cleaned the terminals/contacts on the phone and battery, noticed when re-inserting the battery it seemed quite "loose" so I inserted a small piece of plastic card under the battery to ensure a better contact for the battery, that was over a month ago and have had no issue since.
